We are sad to announce the death of our Honorary Member – Kalevi Heinila – at the age of 98, following a fall at home. He was sorting out his books but suffered a brain infarct from which sadly he did not recover. We will honour Kalevi’s life and contribution to Finnish and international sport sociology in our bulletin. If you have stories to share about Kalevi, we would love to have them and publish them.
