Duties of the position
- Responsibility for teaching and research in Sports Science with a Social Sciences Profile
- Conduct teaching activities in accordance with the current study program and teaching plan. Supervision of bachelor, master and doctoral candidates in relevant fields
- Carry out of exam work.
- Work on further development of research, courses and teaching practice in Sports Science
- Contribute to relevant continuing and further education programs at the Department.
- Carry out research within professional field of the position and the candidate`s special research interests and participate in one or more of the Department`s research groups.
- Responsibility for dissemination of research findings
- Represent the field of study and the Department’s academic discipline in local, national and international interdisciplinary research collaboration
- Take on the departments’s academic responsibility together with other academic staff.
- Responsibility for administrative tasks and contribution to the development of discipline-specific strategic work.
The person who is appointed must be able to teach Sports Psychology and Sports Science with a Social Sciences Profile, and subjects related to their own specialization at bachelor- and master levels, and, if necessary, also on general introductory subjects (such as social science methods or organization and management).
