We have just learned that ISSA has lost one of its members. Prof Kalevi Olin died unexpectedly in May 2023. He was Past Professor of Sports Planning and Docent of Sport Politics at the University of Jyväskylä, Past Vice President of ISSA and Editor of the Sport Sociology Bulletin as well as a former Member of Parliament of Finland. A fuller appreciation and celebration of Prof Olin’s life will be provided in our next bulletin.
